Family Mass

“And Jesus said: “Let the children come to me.” Father Fonti explains the Gospel to our children at the Family Mass every Sunday @ 10:30am

Honoring Mother Cabrini

The Italian Apostolate gathered in great numbers this afternoon to honor St. Mother Cabrini in Cobble Hill Brooklyn . Bishop DiMarzio celebrated Mass in Italian at Sacred Heart-St Stephen where he encouraged the faithful to courageously witness to our Catholic faith. Our diocese is spearheading the erection of a statue in our city to honor this saint of the immigrants.

Father Fonti’s First Mass at St. Mel’s

Last Saturday, July 6th, Father Joseph Fonti celebrated his first Mass as pastor of St. Mel’s . He was warmly welcomed by our parishioners who look forward to his stewardship.
